1. Green Goo Baby Balm + Nursing Cream

This stuff is a miracle balm. And it is 100% clean + non-toxic. You can use it all over your baby’s body: face, scalp, butt, anywhere. It works wonders for cradle cap, eczema, diaper rash, dry winter cheeks, etc. They also have a Green Goo Nursing Cream and it is equally fantastic. Both are made completely from natural oils – no chemicals whatsoever.

2. Baby Bjorn Bouncer + toy bar

I don’t know what we’d do without this. I have been using it since James was 4 weeks old and it grows with them until they are toddlers. Plopping them in this bouncer is seriously how I get everything done during infant life!

TIP: Definitely make sure to register for the Toy Bar as well, it doesn’t come with it included and it’s key.

3. Babo Botanicals Diaper Cream + soap + lotion + sunscreen

We have used this since James was born and I swear by it. It’s non-toxic and seriously works. Anything by the Babo brand is fantastic! We also use their sunscreenbath soap, and lotion!

4. Hannah Anderson sleep sack

My friend Diana got one of these sleep sacks for Shea and it’s SO soft + amazing. I bought her the next size up and it’s now my go-to baby gift for new mom friends!

5. An activity center (AKA “exersaucer”)

When I was registering, I had no idea how important these activity centers actually are. I’m so glad someone told me to register for one. An exersaucer is a must and James lived in this thing. Lots of people love the Skip Hop activity center! I really loved this Oribel one because it isn’t overstimulating. Most exersaucers look like an acid trip for babies. Even though this one didn’t have flashing lights or make tons of noise, he was still FULLY engaged and entertained by it. Also, total bonus – it converts to a mini table for when they are toddlers!

5. Pura Kiki Sippy Cups

These are my favorite cups. They are totally non-toxic, made of stainless steel (keeps liquids cool which allows them to last throughout the day) and the sip cap is silicone. They also make a great water bottle for older toddlers/kids which we also have and love!

6. Burt’s Bees Bodysuits

My kids live in these! At night Shea sleeps in one of these bodysuits and her sleep sack. I recommend registering for them in a range of sizes, get a pack of each: 0-3, 3-6, 6-9!

7. Catch-all bibs

Catch all bibs are a must. End of story!

8. Keekaroo Changing Pad

We had a regular changing pad for James and splurged on the Keekaroo for Shea and I 10/10 recommend the Keekaroo! It’s comfortable, easy to clean, easy on the eyes, and I love not having to worry about washing pad covers.

9. Stokke Tripp Trapp higchair + newborn set

The Tripp Trapp is a splurge but so worth it, in my opinion. Also, the newborn set is such a must! It’s so nice pulling baby up to the dinner table with you and/or right next to you in the kitchen while you cook. I did a post review on both the Tripp Trapp and the newborn set, you can check it out here! PS, tray is sold separately.

10. Ergobaby Embrace Carrier

I love thing because it’s a hybrid of a sturdy carrier and a soft wrap. It’s so comfortable and easy to put on! It says “newborn carrier” but it can be used up to 18 months. I still use it with Shea daily and she is 9 months old. I like wearing it around the house because it’s not as intense as a full blown carrier like the Ergobaby 360. However, if you’re in the market for a larger carrier I definitely recommend the 360! Ergobaby carriers are much more comfortable than Baby Bjorn’s in my opinion.
